She also ordered 4 rolls of reversible paper and 1 roll of metallic paper from Bella, which cost a total of $53. Assuming that rolls of each type are priced the same, what is the price for each kind of paper?

Let y = the cost of one roll or metallic paper

3x + y = 42       y = 42 - 3x

4x + y = 53

4x + 42 - 3x = 53

x = $12

y = 42 - 3(12)

y = $6
