When making a batch of orange juice for her basketball team Jackie used 5 times as much water as concentrate. There were 32 more cups of water than concentrate.

Then 5x=32+x

Subtracting x from both sides

        4x=32

Dividing both sides by 4

          x=8

So Jackie used 40 cups of Water and 8 Cups of Concentrate to make the Orange juice

             40=40
