H3PO4 is an triprotic acid and Ba(OH)2 is a base, so you are dealing with acid/base neutralization. Since there are 3H+ in the acid and 2 OH- in the base, the ratio will be 2 H3PO4 to 3 Ba(OH)2 in the balanced reaction.
2H3PO4 + 3 Ba(OH)2 ===> 6H2O + Ba3(PO4)2
Hope this explains the process. Not that there are the same number or each atom on the left and right side of the balanced equation.
