If F(x) = 3x + 10x and g(x) = 5x - 3, find (f+g)(x)

This just means that f(x) and g(x) are added, so (f+g)(x) = f(x)+g(x).

 

Did you really mean that f(x) = 3x + 10?    (Capital F should not have been capitalized)
