An ice cream shop owner hires a clerk and informs him that the mean weight of scoops of ice cream should be 47 grams. The clerk weighs out seven ice cream scoops with the following weights in grams: 40, 44, 43, 41, 48, 46, and 45. How many grams of ice cream should be added to the smallest of these scoops to obtain an average weight of 47 grams for the seven scoops

The clerk weighs out seven ice cream scoops with the following weights in grams: 52, 51, 50, 43, 48, 45, and 44. How many grams of ice cream should be added to the smallest of these scoops to obtain an average weight of 50 grams for the seven scoops?
