Therefore, LM = ON and OL = NM

 

Since LM = ON, we get

6x - 6 = 5x + 2 ---- 1)

Therefore x = 8.

 

Since OL = NM we get 

x + 5 = 3y + 7 ---- 2)

Substituting the value of x as 8, we get y = 2
