Phil goes 7 1/2 or 15/2 hours per week. 13 weeks in three months. He spends (15/2)(13) hours in the gym. You multiply out.
Jerry spends only 1/6 of Phil's time, that is (1/6)(15/2) per week. He does this for six months, or 26 weeks. Jerry spends (1/6)(15/2)26) hours in the gym. You multiply out.
Who spends more time?
What is the difference?
