Let r = rate of train A
Then rate of train B = r+18
Since the time t is same let's set these up as t=d/r
A: t = 190/r
B: t = 280/(r+18)
190/r = 280/(r+18)
190(r+18) = 280r
Finish solving for r to get rate of train A,
