$90 to spend at a game. He spent 31/45 on his ticket. he spend 3/7 of his money at the stand. he saw a hat on sale for $18. Did he have enough left fo the hat?

I need to also know the work done to get the answer please.

That's initially how I worked it out, too, Mark, but it didn't make sense because under that scenario he wouldn't even have enough to spend at the stand.

Agreed. After rereading a better wording would have been "and he spent 3/7 of the remaining at the stand."
