15\sin30=b\sin100

how do I solve for side b?

I am guessing you mean 15/sin30=b/sin100

Use simple arithmetic to isolate the variable on one side of the equation:

Multiply both sides by sin100:  15sin100/sin30=bsin100/sin100

b=15sin100/sin30

For reference, this is the Law of Sines, which states that the ration of the length of any side to the sine of the opposite angle is proportional to the ration of the length of another side to the sine of the angle opposite that side. Or, A/sin a = B/sin b = C/sin C
