Here, you have to use the "Segment Addition Postulate" for line segments : AB + BC = AC
In this case HJ + JK = HK
(2x+4) + (3x+3) = 22
Next, combine liked terms: 5x+7= 22
Subtract 7 from both sides of the equation: 5x = 15
Divide both sides of the equation by 5: x=3
Now, replace each "x" with 3
HJ: 2(3)+4 = 10
JK: 3(3)+3 = 12
KH: 22
