physics/mechanical question, need help with

Really unsure with this topic so could you please show working out and how its done for me, huge thank you.

1) For the shape below, showing all calculations find the centroid of the composite area
ABCDEF if the circle (centered at G) has a radius of 0.5 units.

2) In order to bring the centroid lower on the Y direction, what do you suggest for the circle
centred at G in terms of position or dimention ?
