(1) What is the new equation of the original function S(x) if its transformation is Dilation (reduced)?
that's exactly what you are asking...but does it make sense?
The phrase NEW EQUATION OF ORIGINAL FUNCTION does not make sense, to me.
If there's a DILATION (REDUCTION), then T(x) = k•(x4+2x3+5) where 0 < k < 1
(2) same dubious diction difficulty exists here, too, but anyway the transformation is T(x) = -S(x).
