Well, without seeing the diagrams:

 

(A) r = -.969 --> points will be tightly scattered about a line with slope -1

 

(B) r = -.049 --> points will almost have no pattern at all

 

(C) r = -1 --> points will all lie on a line with slope -1

 

(D) r = -.992 --> points will be almost completely on a line with slope -1
