Solve the problem.

In one state, speeding fines are determined by the formula where F is the cost, in dollars, of the fine if a person is caught driving x miles per hour. If the fine comes to $155, how fast was the person driving?

75 mph

71 mph

73 mph

83 mph

You need to provide the formula for F(x).  Set

F(x) = 155

and solve for x.  What is F(x)?  That is missing from the problem statement.
