Question

Find the area under the standard normal curve that lies:
a. Either to the left of -1 or to the right of 2.
b. Either to the left of -2.51 or to the right of -1.

Use a Z table to find:

a) P(Z<-1) or P(Z>2) = P(Z<=1)+(1-P(Z<2))

b) P(Z<-2.51) or P(Z>-1) = P(Z<=-2.51) + (1-P(Z>-1)
