Hi Sasha,
If the arc angle is 360o, we can visualize easily that the arc length will be the whole circle that is the perimeter of the circle which 2∏r.
Now we need to find out the r when we know the arc angle = 48o and arc length as 16 cm.
through simple ratio and proportion equation we can write,
360 / 48 = 2∏r / 16 ( This says for 360o, arc length is 2∏r and for 48o , the arc length is 16 )
7.5 * 16 = 2∏r
r = 19.09 cm
