$50+.25x=$100
$50-$50+.25x=$100-$50
.25x=$50
(.25x)/.25=$50/.25
x=200 miles

C = 50d + 0.25X

    50 d + 0.25 X ≤100

    Graph :

    50 d + 0.25 X = 100   / d = days on vertical axis , X on horizontal axis

     ( 0 , 2 )      ( 400, 0) are the intercept points

    Test ( 0, 0)

      50 ( 0 ) + 0.25( 0 ) ≤0

   So left on the line from the intercept points should be marked as the solution.
