Assuming 1/4x means (1/4)x, not 1/(4x)

2 > 1/4x + 3/5 Given

2 - 3/5 > 1/4x Subtract 3/5 from each side

10/5 - 3/5 > 1/4x Find the common denominator

7/5 > 1/4x Simplify (10/5 - 3/5 = 7/5)

4*7/5 > x Multiply both sides by 4

28/5 > x Simplify (4*7/5 = 28/5)

In order to graph the inequality, draw an open circle at 28/5 (between 5 and 6, closer to 6). and draw the arrow going to the left.
