Did Jesus really rise from the dead?

Looking for a discussion on the validity of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Jordan,

You can also read Lee Strobel's personal testimony in several books, including "The Case for Christ," on which the movie David mentioned is based.  Lee Strobel was a journalist and atheist who decided to investigate the historical evidences for the resurrection, and became a believer.  There are many other fine resources to check out, especially at the web page I indicated in my answer.

Hey Mark!

I do believe that third party accounts had records of Jesus being crucified. As well over 500 claimed to have seen him after his death. If we are basing it off of other historical facts (such as Julies Caesar crossing the Rubicon) it fits the quota. Eye witness accounts, oral, written. These are the criteria we use to determine if something is Historically accurate. Just some thoughts. Would love to hear back from you

Would like reference to the third party (not disciples) records.
