Help with Trigonometry problem PLEASE (show me how you got answer)

A pool is built in the shape of a circular sector of radius 100 ft. with a central angle of 140°

 

a) What is the area of the pool

 

b) If Jordan walks along the circular edge of the pool how far does she walk?

A full circle is 360°. What fraction of that is 140°?

f = 140/360 = 7/18

You know how to calculate the area and circumference of a circle.

Multiply each of those answers by 7/18.

(Remember, C = pi*d = 2*pi*r)
