help me with math

 Jack is calculating the density of apples in a box. He knows the number of apples in the box and the volume of the box. What is the formula he would use to calculate the density of apples in the box?

The density of one apple is the ratio of its mass to its volume i.e. mass divided by volume (grams/cubic cm, for example).  The box is irrelevant.  The information that you need is MASS and any measurement that leads to volume calculation. (If you assumed apples to be spheres, then V = (4/3(pi)radius3.
