The density of one apple is the ratio of its mass to its volume i.e. mass divided by volume (grams/cubic cm, for example). The box is irrelevant. The information that you need is MASS and any measurement that leads to volume calculation. (If you assumed apples to be spheres, then V = (4/3(pi)radius3.
