Split brain patients question.

Dear reader



Lately I have been on the internet looking into split brain patients. Since it is really interesting how they do things differently and work around there problems. The left hemisphere controls the right side and the right hemisphere the left. Wich means the left hemisphere uses the right and the right hemisphere the left hand. But the ability to communicate using language is also located on the left site. So my question is since I am a left handed person, if I had to undergo a surgery wich disconnects the two hemispheres. Would I be able to write (pen & paper) with my left hand?
