A certain school has 40 teachers and each teacher teaches 4 classes. Each class has 30 students and 1 teacher. Each student takes 5 classes. How many students are in the school?

40 teachers * 4 classes/teacher * 30 students/class = 4800 students

 

5 classes/student  * x students = 4800

 

5x = 4800

x = 960
