Different types of wood have different density and thus
a block of one type of wood will not necessarily weigh the
same as a block of a different type of wood even with the
same dimensions.
Which weighs more: a 3x3x3
foot cube of concrete or a
3x3x3 foot cube of tin?
If you give us numbers to use to compare initial weight
ratios of the different types of wood, then we can determine
the final weight of two blocks of particular dimensions.
