The perimeter is 530 feet. If the length is 5 feet more than 3 times the width, what are the dimensions?

 pls help thx!

Assuming you're discussing a rectangle, let its dimensions be w (width) and 3w+5.  Add up the two widths and two lengths and set them equal to 530.  Solve the equation for w. Then calculate the length, from above expression.
Those are the dimensions, in feet.
