Fraction Operation Word Problem (Division) help?

Question

20÷5=4 can be conceptualized as the length of 20 being divided into pieces of length 5, where 4 is the number of pieces. How do I use this conceptualization to solve the problem 3 1/2 ÷ 2 1/2 ??

3.1/2 divided by 2 1/2 = 7/2/5/2 = (7/2)(2/5) = 7/5 = 1.4 = 1 2/5

20/5 =4 could be thought of as 20/4 =5 where a wood piece length of 20 feet is divided into 4 pieces, each 5 feet long, or 20 pizzas divided among 4 people, each getting 5 pizzas

you could think of 3 1/2 divided by 2 1/2 as dividing 3 1/2 pizzas among 2 1/2 people (2 big people and 1 half sized person) to get 1 2/5 pizzas each
