Rose receives the same amount of money every week as her pocket money.She saves 2/3 of her weekly pocket money for two weeks and 1/3 of her pocket money for the next three weeks.The total amount she saves was 18$. Find the total amount of her weekly pocket money.

Let her weekly pocket money be x.

2*(2/3)x + 3*(1/3)x = 18

4x/3 + 1x = 18

7x/3 = 18

x = 54/7 dollars or $7.71 (rounded to the nearest hundredth)
