Hi Steve : It doesn't take my comments over your report. So, this comment is related to exponential problem.
 
     Consider:
 
         ek = P n  
 
        k = n ln P
 
         Take case for P = 1.047   P = 15
 
            1.047 ^ 15 = 1.991591322
 
             e ^ ( 15 ln ( 1.047) = 1.991591322
 
            If the factor of lnP will be considered in the exponent of e then both answers will be the same.
            Only one textbook that I have seen brings this point into consideration, and the rest just use the slide rule approximation , and don't include the factor in the exponents.
