This math equation is something i have been given. I am in 6th grade failing terribly XD will anyone help?

Jodi, if we add 4%, we now have 104% of the price, right? Remember that "percent" means for each 100, so 104% = 104/100 = 1.04.

 

1.04(450) = $468
