Question

Find the area of the parallelogram with vertices
A(−4, 5), B(−2, 8), C(2, 6), and D(0, 3).

Draw the parallelogram with the coordinate points.  Then, draw a diagonal across the parallelogram to create two triangles.  Find the area of the two triangles.  Then, add up the areas of the triangle to get the area of the parallelogram.
