Solve the logarithmic equation

log3(x+3)-log3(x+2)=2

Students, we have to combine the logarithmic expression (difference) into a single logarithm, and then we can eliminate log3 by exponentiation, base 3, using the two expressions as exponents.
 
That's why we learn to "write an expression as a single logarithm" in the Algebra II classes.
