Hi Ronald,
This is a Simple Random Sampling.
Sample Random Sampling is a process of obtaining a sample from a population in which each member has an equal chance of being selected.
There are two types of Simple Random Sampling.
1) Sampling with replacement from a finite population
2) Sampling without replacement from an infinite population.
p( picking every student wearing Blue that day)=1/36
b) Usiing Excel's, choose students from list,Below is the Eg:
RANDBETWEEN(1,36)

C) Every 3rd student is selected means that 3rd, 6th,9th,12th,15th,18th,21st,24th,27th,30th students are selected,so there are 10 possibilities out of 36
P(selecting every 3rd student)=10/36=5/18.
This may help you.
