1.09 x 3,785.4 = 4,126.1 grams

 

Next we need to know how many grams to a pound. We look this up, or use a conversion table and find that 1 lb weighs 453.59 grams, If we divide 4,126.1 grams into pieces each weighing 453.59 .we get the number of pounds

 

4,126.1 / 453.59 = 9.09

 

So i gallon weighs 9.1 lbs
