An open box with volume 208cm^3 is to be constructed by taking a piece of cardboard that is 5cm longer than its width and cutting squares of side length 2 cm From each corner.

The starting dimensions are w and w + 5

After cutting out the squares they are w - 4 and w + 1

208 = 2(w - 4)(w + 1)
