length = 2w + 5

 

Area = length * width 

 

(2w + 5) * w = 63

 

2w^2 + 5w - 63 = 0

 

a = 2, b = 5 & c = -63

 

 

use the quadratic formula to find the width

 

The width is 4.5m and the length is 14m.
