I suggest that your equation does not involve variable w and so you're up the proverbial creek on this, UNLESS the letter x in your formula stands for weight.
If x really is w, then all you have to do is to solve for w. In that case, all you have to know is whether the radicand includes w, ie. square root of (15w), or is outside the scope of the square root sign--that makes a difference.
