please list the excluded values of the expression, and simplify

k^2+4k-32 / k^2 -9k+20
 
I need the excluded values and to simplify this please

Is the entire denominator (k² - 9k + 20), Colin? The excluded values are where the denominator is equal to 0.

To simplify the equation, Factor the numerator and denominator.  Then cancel any factors that are in both.
 
The excluded values are whatever values make the denominator zero.  You also have to look at the factors you cancelled.  Whatever makes those zero are also excluded.
