Please help me determine the end behavior of this polynomial fuction using leading coefficient test

The DEGREE of this polynomial is 4+2+1, by adding all of the exponents of the three different binomial factors.

The leading coefficient is positive.

Therefore the right end goes up, as x increases toward infinity,

and the left end goes down, as x decreases toward negative infinity.

 

RULE: ODD degree, one end rises, other end falls, depending on leading coefficient.
