LARAMIE, Wyo. – They are average citizens by day and Jedi Knights for “Star Wars” premiere nights.
They are the die-hard fans, out in full ‘force’ for the premiere of “Episode II: Attack of the Clones”.
At 11:15 p.m. Wednesday night, 46 anticipated minutes until the premiere, the line to get into Regal Fox Theater 6 stretched out the doors, spilled into the streets, and wrapped around the sidewalk.
Toward the front of one line stood a couple dressed as Jedi Knights in tan and brown robes, with black boots, and belts.
“We met because of ‘Star War,’” according to Christina Paul, a Laramie resident. “We get married next year,” she said. Paul and her fiancé, Laramie resident Sean Geiger, are planning a “Star Wars” wedding and a “Star Wars” weekend at Disney world for their Honeymoon.
They met 10 years ago, Paul was seventeen and Geiger was 18, when they began talking about “Star Wars” in the University of Wyoming band and have been together ever since.
They picked up their tickets last Thurs. for the premiere.
“It was everything we expected and more,” Geiger said as they exited the theater.
But will it beat the box-office records set by “Spider-Man” this weekend? “Heck yeah,” Paul said.
Helping replace a “Star Wars” poster on the outside of the theater was Lex Kemper, a manager at Regal. He said the previous “Star Wars” posters were stolen.

Kemper said this is the biggest movie premiere since “Lord of the Rings” last Dec.
Tickets for Wednesday’s midnight showing sold out last Sunday. However, Kemper said they decided to add 2 more showings, 300 more seats.
At about 11:15 p.m., there were still about fifty tickets left. Kemper said it was a last minute decision to add the seats and not many people were aware. “There have been no major problems, just a major release,“ Kemper said. “Everyone’s working.”
The theater is running 19 shows during a 38 hour period Friday and Saturday to accommodate all “Star Wars” fans’ schedules.
Kemper considers himself a privileged one. As part of his job, he was able to preview “Episode II” early to check for problems with the film.
Kemper commented that it is a movie that many will enjoy and he impressed with.
Just as excited about the premiere was Neil Baldwin, a 30-year-old Rock River resident.
Neil Baldwin, a 30-year-old Rock River resident, was hooked early. He said he has been a “Star Wars” fan since 1989 when he saw “Star Wars Episode IV: A new Hope” for the first time.
Baldwin got his ticket on Thursday, May 9th, a week before the premiere, and like many other fans showed up to premiere in Jedi robes.
His assessment of “Star Wars” versus “Spider-Man” resembles Paul’s.
“The lines weren’t this long for ‘Spider-Man,’” Baldwin said “’Star Wars’ has more staying power.”
Although critics claim the movie is plagued with poor acting and plot problems, they do agree that “Episode II” is an improvement from “Episode I: The Phantom Menace.”
Be patient, only time will tell whether the ‘force’ has pulled in enough Jedis to overhaul the “Spider-Man” premiere weekend record of $114.8 million.

This looks like it would come under the definition of a "Lesson" not just solving a problem.

Oh, fun! I'll do my best. In the second sentence, the word play on "force" should have double quotes. Move the period inside the quote after "Clones." The period always goes inside the quote. 11:15 p.m. Wednesday night is redundant. I'd delete the "night." "Anticipated" is extraneous. The time references suggest that the movie starts at 12:01 (46 minutes). Lose the Oxford comma in the description of the line. It says "the line," but then says "one of the lines." How many were there? Christina Paul's quote should have an "s" after "Star War." "Said" is better than "according to." Disney World (capitalization), and honeymoon (lowercase). OK, that was fun for a while, but I've done enough editing work today — paid work. Good luck.
