Whatbis 0= -10? Is it a identity or contradiction?

It is a contradiction because 0 ≠ -10.  Examples of an identity could be something as simple as x = x, which is always true regardless of what value x has, or something more complicated like

 

sin²x + cos²x = 1,

 

which is true for any value of x.

It is a contradiction since this is a false statement. The only way that it will be a true statement or what it is called in advance mathematics a tautology which is a valid argument is if you have the same value in both sides of the equality or what is called an equivalence.
