If only the values of log2 and log 3 is given and u r asked to find the answer using base10.... then how will u find it

You will apply change of base formula, where you change the base to either base 10 or ln
 
Ex.  log28  change that  to
 
       log8
      ------
       log2
 
you basically will set up a fraction, log base ten of the two numbers of the original log. Easy way to remember, look how the 2 and the 8 are positioned, 8 is kinda on top and 2 is at the bottom, thats the same positioning when you do change of base, top number goes on top and the bottom number goes at the bottom .
