a = 1   ,   b = 2      ----->  1 + 1 = 2

 

a = 2   , b = 3      ------->  2 + 1 = 3

 

a = 3   ,  b = 4     ------->  3 + 1 = 4

 

a = 4   ,  b = 5     ------->  4 + 1 = 5

 

And so on.

 

 

 

Part B

 

No there is not.  Create the pair of values under these conditions.

 

a = 0  ,   b = 1      ----->   0 + 1 = 1

 

a = -1  ,  b = 0      ----->  -1 + 1 = 0

 

a = -2  ,  b = -1     ----->   -2 + 1 = -1
