put the area  of 64.4 m2  into that equation we have get in the above question (h = 2A/b)

then we can obtain

h = 2 * 64.4 / b
   = 128.8 /b

if  we know the length of base , we can get the value of the height.

the sides of a right triangle are represented by three consecutive even integers. Let x be length of the shortest side. Which of the following correctly model the situation? b^2 + 2b + 24 = 0 b^2 - 2b - 12 = 0 b^2 - 2b - 24 = 0 b^2/12 = 0
