I think the function is f(t) =3 * 5^t

t = 3

f(t) =3 * 5^t = 3 * 5³ = 3 * 125 = 375

 

the population of bacteria after 3 hours is 375

Note the function must be f(t), not f(x).

 

f(t) = 3 * 5^t

 

At t = 3 hours,

 

f(3) = 3 * 5³ = 3 * 125 = 375

 

There are 375 bacteria present after 3 hours.
