So, Alfonzo, if it costs $3.40 to make the pizza and they want to make $2.20, then they'll have to sell it for $3.40 + $2.20 = $5.60. If there are 6 slices, then the price per slice (let's call it p) has to be more than $5.60/6

 

p > $5.60/6

p > 0.933

 

So, each slice must be sold for at least 94 cents. We can't round down to 93 cents, because .93 x 6 = 5.58, slightly less than the $5.60 we need.
