Is a puzzle pieces with curved sides that fills a plane with no gaps or overlap a tessellation.

Question

I know a tessellation must be 360 degrees where the interior angles meet but if the puzzle pieces are curved where they meet, but leave no overlap or gaps, is that a tessellation?
