 I describe below that 1 + Cot X can only be converted to ( SinX + Cos X )/ Cos X, which is not much of a simplification.
 
  1 + Cot^2 X  can be simplified  to one term of CSC ^2 X .
 
  The direction is taken is to write down expression in terms of other trigonometric functions.
 
    Like   Cot X = SinX / CosX
