Then total arc length traveled is

 

s = r * θ, θ in radians

 

s = (1.75 m) * (1.4 rad) = 2.45 m

 

I assume the given 3.5 m distance is the arc length (please clarify if it is not).  Then

 

θ = s/r = 3.5/1.75 rad = 2 rad
