Since ΔABC ~ ΔDEF and P(ABC) = 15 and P(DEF) = 20 then we can say that the length of each side of ABC is 3/4 of the length of it's corresponding side of DEF.

 

AB = (3/4) DE so

DE = (4/3) AB

Since AB = 5

DE = (4/3) 5 = 20/3
